Hi there,
I include the shortcode to download the pdf in the email notification but it’s not displaying properly. As you can see below, it’s displaying the whole code including the anchor tags, href etc.
Please advise. Thanks.
adminKeymasterBe sure to UNCHECK the “Send Emails in Plain Text” option under the email action’s “Options” settings.

vyuParticipantBTW, is it also possible when a user finishes filling the form, when he submits the form a pdf will be attached to send to the wordpress admin email?
adminKeymasterYes, add another Email Notification action with the Admin’s email address in the TO: field. Then, select YES on the “Attach file to Email notifications” option on the field map layout, then check the box next to the Admin’s Email Action.

vyuParticipantHi, “Send Emails in Plain Text” is unchecked, however it’s still showing the code. Any ideas what’s wrong? Thanks.
adminKeymasterIs any other HTML rendering in the email? If not, check this post on Formidable Form’s support site.
If other HTML is rendering correctly in the email, then paste the shortcode here for further review.

vyuParticipantThank you for your answer. I’ll follow the link.
BTW, is there a way to adjust the text style in the PDF? Is there a CSS file I can modify for that?
Thanks.
adminKeymasterCSS and HTML languages do not work in PRO2PDF. Fonts and text styles are controlled by the PDF Form Field Settings, not our plugin. Be sure to embed all fonts in your PDF Form before uploading to PRO2PDF.

vyuParticipantThanks for the answer.
I just got the trail version. How does the signature work? Do I need a add-on for that for Formidable From as well as your plugin?
vyuParticipantHi there,
I didn’t see the “Attach file to Email notifications” option in the email notification. Can you point me to the right place?
Thanks.
adminKeymasterThe option is on the PRO2PDF “Export” tab for each Field Map Layout.

vyuParticipantThank you. The option is checked in the Field Map. However PDF is not attached.
You mentioned previously I need to add another Email Notification action then check the box next to the Admin’s Email Action.
Is it ok to use the original Email Notification for this? Can you also point me to the box next to the admin email action?
adminKeymasterYou must add a 2nd email action to the Formidable Form’s SETTINGS tab, then check the new action’s box in Field Map Layout on the PRO2PDF “EXPORT” tab.
If you still don’t receive the email attachment, check that you do not have any test, failed, or abandoned field map layouts for the same form with the “Attach file to Email notifications” option checked. If any exist, un-check the “Attach file to Email notifications” to avoid any conflicts.

adminKeymasterYes, you need the Formidable Signature Add-On Plugin to use the merge feature.

vyuParticipantWhen you say test, failed or abandoned field map layouts, do you mean all the pdf fields even if not mapped in this table? I have fields in the pdf that will remain blank, do I need to map those in the WordPress as well? Is there a way to see the failed fields from for example an error file?
Thank you.
vyuParticipantAfter disabling the WP Mail SMTP plugin the attachment is working. Do you have some pointers as to how to have the attachment work with the WP Mail SMTP plugin?
adminKeymasterWe will review the plugin and reply again, in the meantime, a work-around is to place the PRO2PDF shortcode in the body of the email to create a link to download the PDF.
