Hi, I have two problems:
1. sending the form without the plugin takes about 5 seconds, but with the plugin even a minute which is an enormous time. How to do it faster?
2. In pdf some characters are not shown (especially these characters) (ă, î, â, ș, ț) they are in Romanian.
But in the entries in the control panel they appear correctly.1. The speed of the merge depends on several factors. Here are some options to reduce the time.
– Reduce the size of the PDF. (Optimize the PDF with Abobe Acrobat, use shrink.pdf, limit the number of fonts in the PDF)
– Suggested Option: change the Field Map Layout to NOT send the PDF attachment and place the PRO2PDF shortcode in the Email Notification to allow users to download the PDF from the email, on-demand.2. Use a font for the PDF form fields that is compatible with Romanian characters. (Browse the Font Squirrel fonts tagged as Romanian)

Hi, i’ve got the same problem with german characters and the PDF has got (of cause) a font with all characters. If i open the source-pdf i can insert öäü …
Yes, even if you’ve got a font with german characters it seems that there are differences. Courier doesn’t work but Arial.
Edit the original PDF Form with your choice of Adobe Acrobat Form compatible apps, such as Acrobat or pdfescape.com, and change the font for each PDF field.

->Are you referring to the PREVIEW of the PDF form field on the plugin’s Field Map Layout screen? If so, then remove the protection until the mapping is complete, then reapply the protection to the file.
