Hello
Thanks for making this great plug-in. I am using it more and more.
For dataset I use [id] so that the PDF generates the data that the user just entered. There are no problems when I put this shortcode into the form settings, message on submit box.
I want to provide a link to the form from the webpage, apart from the form submission message. The reason is I am taking data from a form the user submitted previously and using it to generate a different PDF. I am attempting to insert the shortcode into a post from the editor, but the shortcode is only being read up to the second set of brackets.
This is the shortcode: [formidable-download form=”78y5o123″ dataset=[id] layout=”14″]
This is how the shortcode appears on the published page: Download layout=”14″]
(the Download is hyperlinked but does not generate the PDF)How can I insert the shortcode from the page/post editor?
Thank you for the help!
ValerieadminKeymasterThank you for using the plugin, we appreciate that you are enjoying it and finding more ways to use the shortcode!
[id] by itself will not work in a page/post. However, you can use [id] within the shortcode inside a view, and then publish the view’s shortcode in a page or post. Then, you can pass any entry_id through the URL to the view.
We remain at your service.
ValerieGuestThank you so much!
