    Hello,

i get this error since Plugin Installation:

Warning: opendir(/tmp): failed to open dir: Permission denied in /www/htdocs/w013a513/dev_pflege/wp-content/plugins/formidablepro-2-pdf/fpropdf.php on line 143

you can also see it as a visitor on the page: http://dev.der-pflegeblogger.de

Permissions on the Pluginfolder are: 777
Permissions on the fpropdf.php file are: 777

Also tried to set the owner of the folder to php-user. This also doesnt help

Add a /tmp and /temp folder to the WP root folder and let us know if this solves your issue.

    Done, but doesnt help.

Any other idea? I’ve sent you the login credentials via support request form

Be sure to set the folder permissions to 777.

If login support is still needed, please provide further details for these instructions; “You need to rename/delete the plugin via FTP before login is possible. FTP Crendetials attached. Installfolders name= dev_pflege”.

    We remain at your service.

Also, is this a WP multisite installation?

Folder and Subfolders permissions are 777

No this is not a multisite install.

What further details do you mean? If you try to go the admin-login you will only see the error which is caused by the plugin.
So you cant get to the login-area as long as the plugin is active.
Only way to see the login field: Disable the Plugin via FTP (Rename)

In this case we will need to see the installation, please complete this form to have us login and take a look. It appear that we will need FTP access as well.

    We remain at your service.

    Seems to work now 🙂

Can you tell me what you have done?

This was something we had not seen before, your unique WP environment required a change to the source code by adding a is_readable check to the condition for selecting a tmp folder, rather than is_writable.

    Thanks for your quick response.

This is the development environment. What i have to do when setting up the plugin at the live environment?
Can i update the plugin in the future without resetting your change?

Our next plugin update will include the fix we made to your installation. We expect to release the update before the end of business today. After which, you’ll be able to install the plugin to the live environment and you’ll be able to update in the future without resetting the change we’ve made to your development environment.

    We remain at your service.
