Have been having difficulties comprehending why forms won’t work with ea-php v7.1 (base php is ea-php 5.6 and wp etc was originally installed with that version of php… shared hosting service began offering ea-php7.1 but had forgotten to activate some dependency which was addressed).

Migrated site to another domain that was set to ea-php v7.1 originally. Set everything up again (bought another license and activated) all works beautifully. So… assume it’s a wp setting or htaccess or my db that is a bit wonky on the original installation.

Migrated the temp working site back to original domain (separate wp install to different subdir). Deactivated license on temp installation on 2nd test site. However I can not activate that 2nd license in the sub-directory of original site. I can’t mess with the original installation dir because it needs to remain functional at present.

How can I activate the second installation on the 2nd wp installation in a separate subdir (on same domain)?

Is it even necessary to have 2 separate activations? Since technically 2 different wp installations I assumed required.

My wp and db understanding is limited but I’m trying hard to comprehend.
