I was advised by the support at Formidable Forms to investigate your plugin as what our client is looking to achieve is to have a form submitted, then have a PDF generated from the data in that form and for that file simply to be stored on the web server (not made available for download).
I am fine to upgrade to whatever version is required but wanted to check first that this was feasible?
adminKeymasterYes, PRO2PDF will accomplish the described task.
Out of the box, PDFs would not be “stored” on the server. From the plugin’s EXPORT tab, admins could at any time select the form, then an entry, then click the EXPORT button to generate the PDF based on the saved data in Formidable Forms.
If there will be over 500 entries, we would suggest creating a Formidable View to list or search for the entry and add the PRO2PDF shortcode to the view so admin could just click a link to generate the PDF.
Optionally, PRO2PDF has an add-on to generate PDFs when submit is clicked, and save the PDF to a folder on the local server.
Our free version works with 1 Formidable Form to an unlimited number of PDF templates. However, the paid version is required to merge signatures and images and is required to save PDfs locally with the add-on extension.
We remain at your service.
adminKeymasterJust let us know if you need the add-on to save PDFs locally, and we’ll reply with a link to order the add-on.
