I have been trying to format my PDF to enable automatic field mapping in formidable but think I’m missing something as the auto mapping feature doesn’t seem to be working to well.

For example my form ask for several different phone numbers (9 in total). Each area of the form that ask for a phone number is in a different section of my form to keep it organized for the user but is still labeled as “phone number” under each section.

I’m trying to figure out how best to label the PDF fields.

I have tried using the field map ID “[196] Phone Number” in the PDF as the name, which would be the exact match, but that doesn’t seem to work. I have also tried naming them PDF fields Phone number1, Phone number2, etc., also unsuccessful.

Suggestions?
