Hi,
I just purchased the pro2pdf and also formidable form plugin for WordPress.
I want to set up a website where you fill out your name and email address and automatically get sent the filled out pdf.
Email is sent via Mandrill.I was able to set up this and it is basically working.
But I was not able to solve following problems:
1. I only can send a link of the PDF but not the PDF as an attachment.
2. The PDF I can download from the sent email has an invalid name like ´CSI-Diploma.pdf´.pdf – no idea how I can remove the two ´ in the name.
3. In the emails sent I get an error messageThere was an error generating the PDF file. Your server wasn't able to upload PDF file: couldn't open file ""
Maybe the problems are connected.
My setup:
managed WordPress Account with GoDaddy 4.4
Formidable Pro2PDF V2.2
Formidable V2.0.18
wpMandrill V1.33January 5, 2016 at 9:28 am #5351adminKeymasterPlease paste the shortcode you are using in your email and provide a screenshot of the ‘entire’ field map layout with the form, dataset and layout selected for further troubleshooting.

January 5, 2016 at 9:49 am #5357adminKeymasterRemove the quotes around [id] and try the link again. If the issues are not solved, try changing the “Flatten” setting to just YES, not the “and transform text to images” option.
Let us know your results as we remain at your service.
January 5, 2016 at 9:52 am #5358adminKeymasterAlso, try one more thing if the above does not correct the issues, clear the “PDF File Name in Emails” box in the field map layout, the Layout Name will be used as default.
January 5, 2016 at 10:03 am #5359adminKeymasterThere seems to be two field map layouts set to email with the form submission.
Deselect “Attach PDF to email notifications” on the one layout that you are not using, and try exporting a pdf from the field map layout from the layout you are using to be sure it is merging correctly from inside WP.
