GiovanniParticipant
Hi I have a form about 105 formidable fields. And I have pdf form about .98mb (7 pages)
And I have 2 problems.1. It doesn’t map for some reason, when I click “export to pdf button” it will come up blank pdf form.
2. after a few tries of “export to pdf” button it will generate an error “failed to load pdf document”adminKeymasterPlease verify; 1) the PDF already has Adobe Form Fields, 2) the PDF has NO Adobe ‘Signature’ fields, 3) the PDF was NOT created in Adobe LiveCycle, 4) the field names show up as a dropdown list in the Field Map Layout screen.
If all of the above are verified, we would need to review the PDF document to troubleshoot the issue. Please use this form to send the PDF to us. No need to complete the entire form if only sending the PDF.

GiovanniParticipantI already have 2 forms working 1 is about 3 pages which contains checkboxes and signature.
the second one is 4 pdf pages with signature field. The 7 pages won’t work. So1. PDF already has adobe form fields.
2. The it doesnt contain adobe signature.
3. Is not created in Adobe Live cycle (I use adobe acrobat pro dc. )
4.the field names show up as a dropdown list in the Field Map Layout screen.I will upload the pdf but quick question is the size of the pdf matter? or what is the limit in terms of pdf sizes?
adminKeymasterFile size can cause timeouts depending on internet latency, however, the size would need to be more than a few MB’s to cause an issue. This is not likely a PDF size issue if the PDF is under 1MB.
Two other possible issues may be; 1) PDF filename, PDF field name, or Formidable Form field name has special characters causing a merge failure, 2) corrupt or non-standard PDF file.
Once receive, we’ll take a look at the PDF and let you know what we find.
adminKeymasterWe found a PDF field name with a special character that is causing the merge to file.
Renaming the PDF field “7) This authorization expires” to remove the parentheses will fix the issue.

GiovanniParticipantIt works now. Thank you so much for your help
