June 4, 2016 at 12:26 pm #8262JosephParticipant
I installed Formidable Pro2Pdf as well as the premium version of Formidable and Formidable signature plugin. Signature field displays, but text will not insert into the PDF signature area. I tried setting it as a signature box in the PDF as well as a text box. Website is https://nationalmerchants.us/ the referenced form can be found at https://nationalmerchants.us/test-application
June 4, 2016 at 6:45 pm #8263adminKeymasterDo not use the PDF signature field, it’s not compatible with the plugin. However the PDF text field should have worked if you select “Signature” under the format dropdown of the field mapping.
Please upload the Template file to this form.
To export a Template; From the PRO2PDF Admin Page → Templates → Export field map → Export

June 5, 2016 at 10:49 am #8280JosephParticipantThank you for your response, unfortunately I am unable to attach the json file as the file upload field on the support form only allows pdf files. I successfully exported the configuration though
June 5, 2016 at 12:09 pm #8281adminKeymasterOur apologies, the form has been updated to accept the file. Please try again.
June 5, 2016 at 3:26 pm #8286JosephParticipantI am still unable to upload the .json file, the error message I receive is “PDF form is invalid”. I uploaded the json file to my server temporarily so you can view it.

June 5, 2016 at 8:52 pm #8287adminKeymasterThe Template appears to be working.

You will not lose any saved forms or entries when you delete Formidable. from Formidable’s site
If reinstalling does not fix the issue, please also try disabling all other plugins to rule out a conflict, and then if the cause of the issue is not found and it’s possible for us to login to your WP installation, please complete this form so we may troubleshoot the issue on your server.
If not possible to login, let us know and we’ll continue further assistance.

June 6, 2016 at 5:12 am #8294JosephParticipantI will get back to you about the site access very shortly. Thank you for your reply, I saw that it worked.
My issue is very strange, because when I don’t select signature, the correct data populates the field – just not formatted correctly.

June 6, 2016 at 6:46 am #8299adminKeymasterPlease verify that you disabled, deleted and reinstalled Formidable Forms and the Formidable Signature Add-On Plugin with the latest versions. We have seen this issue before and found this to be the resolve.

June 6, 2016 at 8:42 am #8301Joseph MGuestYes, I have disabled and deleted Formidable Signature first, then disabled and deleted Formidable Forms, then reinstalled Forms first, then signature. I attempted it twice with freshly downloaded editions.

June 10, 2016 at 11:16 am #8404adminKeymasterIssue resolved. We didn’t realize you were using PDFtk locally, which is not compatible with merging signatures or images. To fix, uncheck the “Enable local PDFTK” option under the SETTINGS tab.
